Maritime security strengthened along the coast in Gujarat

Indian Coast Guard and Gujarat Marine Police have increased their vigil and surveillance along the coast in Gujarat. This step has been taken following intelligence inputs that some militants might try to target Indian establishments using the sea route. Advanced spotting and communication equipments have been deployed to keep a strict vigil on any alien activity. Meanwhile, security measures at the temples in Dwarka and Somnath have also been beefed up since these two prominent Hindu places of worship are on the list of Pakistani militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
