NRI’s death in Ireland generates abortion debate

The argument over making abortion legal in Ireland kicked off a new storm, as an Indian woman, who was rushed to a Dublin hospital in the midst of a miscarriage and was refused an abortion, eventually died. The woman, identified as Savita Halappanavar was 17 weeks pregnant.
