Office of Chief Justice comes under RTI: High court

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday upheld its single bench order that the Right to Information (RTI) Act would cover the office of Chief Justice of India (CJI), and hence the assets of the judges would also be revealed. Quoting the judgment as 'historic', prominent lawyer Prashant Bhushan welcomed the verdict and said that this will enhance the stature of the judiciary in the eyes of the people.
