PM's brother demands recounting in Amritsar

Surjit Singh Kohli, brother of PM Manmohan Singh, on Saturday demanded recounting in Amritsar parliamentary constituency, alleging lapses. Police caned and fired tear gas shells to disperse frenzied Congress supporters who were alleging foul play during the counting of votes. Also, BJP nominee and Gujjar community leader Kirori Singh Bainsla, who lost the election from Tonk seat in Rajasthan, demanded a repoll.
