Creditors led by the State Bank of India (SBI) have asked Kingfisher airlines to raise fresh equity of Rs 800 crore and put in place a credible plan if banks are to consider debt restructuring for the cash-strapped airline. SBI Managing director Hemant Contractor said on the sidelines of a summit in New Delhi on Monday that that the airline has a proposal to sell real estate in Mumbai to raise funds.
