Samajwadi Party throws name of Mulayam in PM race

The Samajwadi Party (SP), which rules Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday proposed the name of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav as the prime ministerial candidate, a year before general polls. The SP said people were looking up to Yadav, who has served as the Defense minister and UP chief.
