SC rejects Nupur’s review petition

In a major blow to the Talwar's, the Supreme Court today dismissed the review petition of Nupur Talwar in the infamous 2008 Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case. A two-judge SC bench rejected the petition saying that there was no merit in Talwar's petition that challenged an earlier order by the Apex Court that allowed a Ghaziabad court to frame charges against her and husband Rajesh Talwar. In her petition, Nupur had asked the court to quash the case against them in the trial court. The SC, however, has asked the dentist couple to file a fresh bail petition.
