Shutdown over Cauvery row paralyses Karnataka

Angry over not receiving any solace despite a series of statewide protests over the directive of Supreme Court's orders to share water of river Cauvery with neighbouring Tamil Nadu, Karnataka is observing a 12 hour shutdown across the state on Saturday.
