Sikhs pay obeisance to revered fifth guru

Sikhs in India are observing the 402nd martyrdom of their fifth religious leader. Thousands of devotees from far flung places gathered at the Gurudwara at Tran Taran to commemorate the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev on Monday. Arjun Dev was the founder-builder of Golden Temple, the holiest temple of Sikhs in India. Guru Arjun Dev became the first martyr of Sikhs at the age of 43 years.
