South Asian parliamentarians' meet begins in Shimla

More than 80 delegates are participating in the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) parliamentarians' conference, which began in Shimla on Saturday. Drawing on the theme, Towards South Asia Unity, the delegates will deliberate on regional cooperation, connectivity, security and the setting up of a South Asian parliament on the patterns of the European parliament.
