Vaiko urges UN to intervene for displaced Tamilians

MDMK Chief V. Gopalswamy, also known as Vaiko, on Friday urged the UN to intervene in Sri Lanka for the resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons in Srilanka. Vaiko staged a protest in Chennai along with hundreds of party activists. Meanwhile law students' community began a signature campaign in Coimbatore city for the cause of Sri Lankan Tamils.
