Delhi chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. During the meet, Kejriwal demanded full statehood for Delhi and the PM assured them that the Centre will think about the issue. Kejriwal, who was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party, also met Rajnath Singh and M Venkaiah Naidu to extend invitations for his swearing-in ceremony on Saturday. The Aam Aadmi Party made a clean sweep of the Delhi assembly polls, winning 67 of the 70 seats on offer while decimating rivals BJP and Congress.
