Women's organisations in New Delhi issued a call for greater gender sensitivity on March 8 to galvanise an apathetic government, against the constant harassment and exploitation. Several women organisations gathered in New Delhi to voice their grievances and said they would rather observe the day as a breach of confidence by the government.
