Israel Air Force fighters thunder: Rare daytime airstrike in Syrian capital area

Israel forces struck the vicinity of the Syrian capital Damascus, injuring one soldier. A rare daytime attack - Israel usually launches air strikes on Syria overnight. The airstrikes targeted sites where Iran-backed groups & the Syrian military operate. Civil war erupted in Syria in 2012, and Israel Forces have carried 100s of airstrikes. On Israel's Syria radar - Govt troops, allied Iran-backed forces & Hezbollah fighters. Israel seized 1,200 sq. Km. of the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 six-day war. Israel later annexed the seized area in a move never recognised by the int'l community.
