Inside a submarine in Mauritius, 35 metres under sea level

<p>The Blue Safari has been operating in Mauritius since 1998 and has been operating in the northern part of &Icirc;le Maurice, in Trou aux Biches, Mauritius. The BS1100 is a 7.5 metre long, 10-seater submarine with individual windows for each seat, but it is only after a briefing about some basic rules you are first taken to the submarine. In the submarine the internal pressure will remain stable regardless of the depth. On average, you will be able to see over a hundred fish from inside the submarine. Trevally, Rays, Turtles, Clown fish, Parrot fish and Threadfins are some of the underwater life you will be able to spot. You also get to see the ship Star Hope's wreck, which got caught in a storm and sunk in 1988. The captain, Jonathan gives a running commentary of whatever is happening outside, along with some Hindi Kindergarten poems.</p>

LMIFW 2020: The mesmerising grand finale

There was IKAI by Ragini Ahuja, Pramaa y Pratima Pandey, Amita Gupta Sustainable, Diksha Khanna, Nidhi Yasha, Samant Chauhan, Rimzim Dadu and Pepsi X HUEMN. Samant Chauhan showcased his clothing line which was inspired from 'Starry Night in Spiti Valley.' Chauhan said he wanted to translate Vincent van Gogh's 'Starry Night' into his collection. Dadu on the other hand used steel wires and metallic cords for her clothing line.</p>

Bazaars, heritage and more: Azerbaijan Tourism CEO on reasons to visit

<p>The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), the national body that supports Azerbaijan's growing tourism industry, is holding a three-city roadshow in India from September 9-13 and visiting Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. The event will bring together key travel industry leaders in the region to build valuable connections between the countries. In this interaction, CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, Florian Sengstschmid, tells us why Azerbaijan is the place to visit and the various spots to go there. With a direct flight from Delhi and a simplified electronic visa procedure for Indian passport holders, tourism from India to Azerbaijan increased by 80% in 2019. The new initiatives are expected to improve Azerbaijan's ranking among countries with a high tourism contribution towards national GDP, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council 2018 Impact Report. It is forecast to be at 6% per annum over the course of the next 10 years ranking it amongst the world's top 20 high potential countries. This follows the launch of ATB's marketing campaign 'Take another look' which encourages travelers to discover Azerbaijan's hidden gems and aims to double current in-bound tourism by 2023.</p>
