QUAD summit on 12 March: The agenda, significance & the China factor

The first online summit of the Quadrilateral group of nations (QUAD) will be held on Friday. PM Modi, US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japan Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga will be participating in the meeting. The leaders will discuss regional and global issues of shared interest, and exchange views on practical areas of cooperation towards maintaining a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region, the government had said.
