PM Modi chairs meet on Russia's Ukraine invasion; Pitches for atmanirbhar India

PM Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting today amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, three chiefs of Armed forces among others. At the meeting, PM Modi was briefed about the evolving situation in Ukraine. He reviewed India's security preparedness and pitched to make India self-reliant in the defence sector. PM Modi also stressed upon making all efforts to bring back the body of Indian student Naveen, who was killed in firing in Kharkiv. Watch this video for more details.
