Putin's nuclear move terrifies West; EU threatens Russian ally Belarus with more sanctions
The European Union has threatened Belarus for enabling Russian nuclear deployment. The EU has warned to respond with further sanctions if Belarus presses ahead with hosting Russian nuclear weapons on its soil. In a tweet, Josep Borrell, the EU's foreign policy chief, said that 'Belarus can still stop it; it is their choice; else, the EU stands ready to respond with further sanctions.' EU's sanctions threat for Belarus comes after NATO's sounded an alarm. 'Spooked," NATO dubbed the move by Vladimir Putin 'dangerous and irresponsible.'
