Dhoni offers prayers after receiving Khel Ratna

Mahendra Singh Dhoni offered prayers at ancient Deori temple in Ranchi after cricket board awarded him nation's highest sporting prize, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna on Monday. Praises poured in thick and fast for the flamboyant player. Dhoni's school will chalked out a grand function in his honor on Tuesday. Premier batsman Sachin Tendulkar is the only other cricketer to earn the accolade.
