SA welcomes ICC decision

South African batsmen welcomed the ICC's decision to postpone the Champions Trophy because of security problems in Pakistan. South African batsman De Villiers said that he was glad that the ICC had put the players' safety first. Batsman Herschelle Gibbs also felt that the right decision had been taken. The Champions Trophy had been scheduled for September, but will now take place in October 2009.
