Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari claimed on August 10 that a top Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander, Ashraf Juda, was present at the compound that was struck earlier in the day. Hagari said IDF "conducted a precision strike" targeting Ashraf Juda and "according to our intelligence, no women and children were present." Meanwhile, the Gaza civil defence agency claimed that over 100 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli airstrike on al-Tabin school in al-Daraj neighbourhood. Gaza media office said that IDF used three bombs weighing 2000 pounds each in the attack.
