Holy C*ap! Kid swipes Pope’s skullcap

Pope Francis had his skull cap stolen on Wednesday - by a little girl in Saint Peter's Square. The young American girl visiting the Vatican with her family took advantage of her opportunity to meet Pope Francis by swiping his skullcap. Ella Westrick, 3, was visiting from Atlanta, Georgia. She was lifted up to meet the Pope and as he kissed her cheek, she reached around and grabbed the zucchetto. The pontiff was kissing and blessing children after the weekly general audience as a man approached him carrying the young girl. As the pope bent down to kiss the infant, she grabbed his skull cap - to the amusement of pilgrims looking on.
