A Yemeni National was arrested in Saudi Arabia for travelling to Muslim holy city of Mecca to perform an 'umrah' pilgrimage on behalf of late Queen Elizabeth II. Saudi authorities cracked down on the man after a video of him holding banner at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Islam’s holiest site, went viral. The banner read: “Umrah for the soul of Queen Elizabeth II, we ask God to accept her in heaven and among the righteous.” Saudi Arabia forbids pilgrims to Mecca from carrying banners or chanting slogans.
