The world's first underwater bar opened in the Mexican island of Cozumel on Saturday. Guests at the Clear Lounge oxygen bar don't need to reserve tables or order drinks but instead pay for the experience of hanging out underwater while wearing a helmet that releases mint- or citrus-scented oxygen. In the bar, which is set in the depths of a 13,000-gallon (59,100 litre) transparent aquarium lounge, no shirts or shoes are needed. Aside from tasting aromatic air, guests can move around the tank and play board games, shoot bubble guns, and dance while moving around protected by a special helmet. The bar also serves 'smoothies' that are infused with oxygen.
