Watch | Sea foam blizzard in France

An amazing weather footage of a blizzard of sea foam at a local port has emerged from Brittany, France. People can be seen struggling to find their way through the blizzard with foam flying into their faces and windscreens of those trying to get through by car. Sea foams are created by the agitation of seawater, particularly when it contains higher concentrations of dissolved organic matter. Due to its low density and persistence, the foams can be blown by strong on-shore winds towards the land from the beach face.
