Iran, America LIVE: Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians during a raid on the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency.

Wafa, citing security officials, said troops raided and searched homes before detaining Jumaa Nahed al-Juju, Ahmed Adel Hajahra and Raafat Riyad Malash.

Iran, America LIVE: The IRGC said the missile attack on Jordan's Azraq airbase was retaliation for US strikes that forced the evacuation of 121 children with cancer from a hospital in Ahvaz.

Iran, America LIVE: Nikki Nikbakht, an Iranian woman living abroad, says she fears for her brothers Hadi and Fazlollah, who are facing execution in Iran. The two political prisoners were sentenced to death after being convicted on charges linked to alleged dissent against the government, CNN reported.

Nikbakht said Iranian authorities portray political activists as threats to justify death sentences, as per CNN.

US, Iran news LIVE updates: The US has carried out its second strike on northern Iran since the latest escalation.

The attack targeted Semnan, where Iran said a civilian airport building and a storage facility were hit. Iranian officials said the airport suffered minor damage.

The earlier US strike in northern Iran targeted a railway bridge in Aqqala, an important trade route for Iran amid restrictions on oil exports.

US, Iran news LIVE updates: US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib said she voted in favour of ending $3.3 billion in US military aid to Israel.

In a post on X, Tlaib criticised US spending priorities and said funds should instead support healthcare and housing programmes.

She wrote, "I voted YES to stop $3.3B to fund Israel’s destruction in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. When we need to fund healthcare, there’s no money. When we need to fund housing, there’s no money. But for the genocide of Palestinians, they find billions of dollars. This must end."

US, Iran news LIVE updates: Oil prices fell on Thursday as traders booked profits after a four-day rally.

Brent crude dropped 0.28% to $84.95 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate fell 0.19% to $79.45 a barrel.

Markets continued to track the impact of renewed US strikes on Iran and risks to energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.

The waterway handled about one-fifth of global oil and LNG trade before the war. Shipping traffic through Hormuz has slowed, with seven vessels crossing on Wednesday compared with 13 the previous day.

Iran-US war LIVE: The US has imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command said it disabled an empty oil tanker heading towards Iran’s Kharg Island after the vessel ignored warnings.

The US used Hellfire missiles to strike the tanker’s smokestack, according to CENTCOM. The military also redirected two commercial vessels during the first 24 hours of the blockade.

Iran-US war LIVE: A US citizen detained in Iran had been allowed to leave the country after a “wrongful” detention, Trump has said. The woman was identified as Dena Karari by her lawyer Jared Genser.

Genser said Karari had been unable to leave Iran since December 2024. He said she was held on what he described as “bogus charges”.

Genser confirmed that Karari is now free and returning to the US. He credited efforts by Trump, White House officials, the State Department and non-government organisations for securing her release.
