Chick-fil-A unveils new four limited-time menu items to celebrate 80 years: What are they?

Chick-fil-A is set to introduce an all-day breakfast item this fall, along with two new drinks inspired by campfire treats.

Chick-fil-A's new S’mores Milkshake combines Icedream dessert with marshmallow syrup, chocolate shortbread, and graham crackers, while the frosted coffee offers a caffeine kick with a milkshake-like profile.

After much anticipation, the Georgia-based chicken restaurant is putting its unique twist on chicken and waffles. These newly launched menu items are part of Chick-fil-A's yearlong celebration called "Newstalgia," which pays tribute to the brand's 80-year legacy by reinterpreting beloved classics with innovative and signature CFA elements.

“As we thought about the year of ‘Newstalgia’, we really thought about what menu items do customers long for and want from us that are also nostalgic and that we can do in a uniquely Chick-fil-A way,” Allison Duncan, who serves as the director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, shares insights with Southern Living.

“Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way.”

Following a successful test run in San Antonio and Baltimore last year, the Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, available in two sizes, along with a S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee, will officially debut nationwide starting August 24. These limited-edition fall menu items will be offered while supplies last, continuing into November.

Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches

Chick-fil-A offers its unique take on the cherished Southern classic, featuring its renowned chicken filet nestled between two soft, slightly crispy waffles infused with maple flavor. This delightful creation is then enhanced with applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter, delivering a perfect blend of sweetness and savoriness.

Chick-fil-A is introducing a new sandwich available in two distinct sizes, marking it as one of the chain's more unique seasonal offerings.

Both the breakfast version (offered during regular breakfast hours) and the more substantial entrée sizes contain identical ingredients.

S'mores Milkshake

To enhance the sweetness, the chain is combining all the delightful flavors of the beloved campfire dessert into its signature milkshake. This hand-spun shake begins with Chick-fil-A's Icedream dessert, which is infused with a marshmallow-flavored syrup and includes chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles. To complete the treat, it is topped with a unique toasted marshmallow whipped topping.

S'mores Frosted Coffee

This frosted coffee rendition serves as the perfect afternoon indulgence, embodying the flavors of the seasonal milkshake but enhanced with a caffeine lift from cold brew coffee. Our observations indicate that it is less coffee-centric than a standard frosted coffee, presenting a more milkshake-like profile thanks to the luxurious additions of marshmallow-flavored syrup and crumbles of chocolate shortbread and graham crackers.
