Two Palestinian militants died today in an Israeli raid on the centre of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical officials said.

Two Palestinian militants died early on Thursday in an Israeli raid on the centre of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical officials said.
The fighters were members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a group linked with the Fatah movement of Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas. They were killed near the town of Deir El Balah, the medics said.
A Brigades communique confirmed that two of its members had been killed.
An Israeli army spokesman questioned by AFP was unable to confirm the attack.
