Rockets hit Pak army aviation base

Two rockets today hit a Pakistan army aviation base at the airport in Peshawar, partially damaging a training aircraft, officials said.

The Airport Security Force said some unidentified attackers fired two rockets at the airport.

There were no reports of casualties in the incident.

One rocket hit a training aircraft parked in the army aviation base and partially damaged it. Officials said the second rocket landed in University Town near the airport.

After the attack, the army and security forces cordoned off the area and tightened security around the airport.
