A special screening of Veere Di Wedding was held in Mumbai with Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar and Masaba Gupta in attendance. Sonam Kapoor watched the film with husband Anand Ahuja.

Veere Di Wedding is all set to release this Friday but a select few got to watch the film in advance. This included the friends of family of film’s star cast -- Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker. Kareena Kapoor, however, was conspicuous by her absence.

Sonam’s cousin Janhvi Kapoor made a stylish appearance at the event. She was seen sporting a white top and faded denims; Janhvi will make her Bollywood debut next month with Dhadak.

Sonam attended the screening and husband Anand Ahuja. While Sonam looked chic in a blue and white dress, Anand was the perfect gentleman dressed up in a brown suit.

Swara and Sumet Vyas were also spotted.

Karan Johar and Mohit Marwah, among several others, also marked their attendance.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding is the story of four friends, essayed by Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha. The film hits theatres on June 1 when it also clashes with Sonam’s brother Harshvardhan Kapoor-starrer Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.
