Moustache could be lucky for Lootera, feels Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh feels cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Ravindra Jadeja’s handlebar moustaches proved lucky for the Indian team in the ICC Champions Trophy. Now, he hopes his own moustache reaps gold for him at the box office too.

“I am happy that handlebars are back. If you see, Shikhar Dhawan sports one and so does Ravindra Jadeja. See how their luck is shining. We have lifted the cup, thanks to their

handlebars,” says Ranveer.

“I hope mine is as lucky for me as theirs have been for the Indian cricket team. I am glad and if I may say so, I may have started a trend,” he adds. Ranveer sports a moustache in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela, where he will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone.

He says if he could, he would love to keep the look. “I would have grown my hair long and kept a similar beard if I wasn’t playing (different) characters in my profession. That’s how I would have been in my personal life. I’m very attached to my moustache, I love twirling it,” says Ranveer.
