The Tashkent Files posters featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Pankaj Tripathi unveiled, trailer out on March 25

The posters for upcoming film The Tashkent Files, featuring Mithun Chakraborty and Pankaj Tripathi, were released on Friday.

The posters for upcoming film The Tashkent Files were unveiled on Friday. The first poster featured veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who will be seen playing the role of Shyam Sundar Tripathi in the thriller. Sharing the first poster, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, wrote that the trailer of the film would be released on March 25.

He tweeted: “Mithun Chakraborty is #ShyamSundarTripathi... #TheTashkentFiles trailer on 25 March 2019... Costars Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Basu Prasad, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Mandira Bedi, Pallavi Joshi and Ankur Rathee... Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri... 12 April 2019 release.”

 

Through the day, Taran shared posters of actors Shweta Basu Prasad, Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi. On Saturday, he shared a poster featuring Naseeruddin Shah.

Sharing the poster of Shweta Basu, he wrote: “Shweta Basu Prasad is #RaaginiPhule... #TheTashkentFiles trailer on 25 March 2019... Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri... 12 April 2019 release.”

 

 

 

 

Pankaj will be seen in the role of Gangaram Jha and Pallavi will be seen as Aiysha Ali Shah. Naseeruddin will play a character called PKR Natrajan. The Tashkent Files is purportedly based on the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri who has made movies like Chocolate and Buddha in a Traffic Jam. Tashkent Files is slated to hit the screens on April 12, 2019. The film also stars Vinay Pathak, Mandira Bedi and Ankur Rathee.
