Monsoon set to advance further: Met office

India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on its website on Monday conditions are favourable for further advance of monsoon over more parts of Bay of Bengal and remaining parts of Andaman Sea during next 48 hours.
Earlier on Monday, the weather office official said Monsoon rains have reached Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of the Bay of Bengal and were set to advance further.
