A 15-year-old school boy of Class 10 committed suicide by hanging himself with celling fan at his residence, after he was scolded by his mother in Gazipur Sanian village in Zirakpur on Saturday.

A 15-year-old school boy of Class 10 committed suicide by hanging himself with celling fan at his residence, after he was scolded by his mother in Gazipur Sanian village in Zirakpur on Saturday.

As per information, deceased Ankit Sharma, son of Ashok Sharma, was snubbed by his mother, following which he got annoyed and went to sleep in his room.

As he did not open the door after a long time, the parents found his body hanging with the ceiling fan in his room. The parents called the police who registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC.
After the postmortem, the body has been handed over to family.
