UT SSA teachers write to PM for speedy regularisation

Members of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers Welfare Association, UT, have written over 1,100 letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed by Junior Basic and Trained Graduate teachers on Tuesday to demand an early decision on their regularisation issue.

Members of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers Welfare Association, UT, have written over 1,100 letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed by Junior Basic and Trained Graduate teachers on Tuesday to demand an early decision on their regularisation issue.

In the letters, teachers have requested the PM to intervene and direct the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to ensure speedy regularisation of 647 posts of masters and 728 posts of primary teachers
Association members said as per MHRD norms, these posts should had been filled by the education department on regular basis, but it appointed these teachers on contract basis.

President of SSATWA Arvind Rana said, "As the Teachers' day is round the corner, we request the PM to take up our case, pending with MHRD for our regularisation."
