Cyber security discussed at meeting of experts, UP govt officials

Cyber security experts stressed on the importance of the issue and discussed several aspects related to it

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a cyber security summit in which experts and senior officials of the state government participated, on Saturday. They stressed on the importance of cyber security and discussed several issues related to it.

Addressing the gathering, Awanish Awasthi, additional chief secretary, home, apprised the gathering about the steps taken by the Centre and the state governments to ensure cyber security at its various offices. Navneet Sehgal, additional chief secretary, MSME, also expressed his views.

Miti Sinha, director (modern work and security solutions), Microsoft, India; Prashant Kumar, additional director general, law and order, SN Sabat, senior IPS officer, UP Police; Prof Manindra Agarwal of IIT –Kanpur and senior bank officials from public and private sectors among others attended the event.

LK Jhunjhunwala, chairman, Assocham, UP chapter, also expressed his views.
