Shane Watson scored a phenomenal 57-ball 117 to guide Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Chasing 179, CSK looked in complete control and it was a special innings from the Aussie that spelled doom for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Earlier, Kane Williamson (47 off 36 balls) and Yusuf Pathan (45 of 25 balls) were the star performers for SRH as they posted a competitive total of 178/5 in 20 overs. Lungi Ngidi and Ravindra Jadeja were the pick of the CSK bowlers with one wicket each. This was CSK’s fourth win against the Kane Williamson-led side this season - a unique feat in the history of the tournament.
