BJP MLA in ‘vote fix’

Senior Congress leader Chattar Singh on Thursday alleged BJP MLA from Karawal Nagar, Mohan Singh Bisht, has 27 voters registered at his F-4/4, Dayal Pur Extension residence.

Senior Congress leader Chattar Singh on Thursday alleged BJP MLA from Karawal Nagar, Mohan Singh Bisht, has 27 voters registered at his F-4/4, Dayal Pur Extension residence.

Bisht, however, rejected the allegation as baseless. “We are five brothers, which live in a joint family at this address. We also have tenants,” the BJP MLA said.

Chief electoral officer Vijay Dev said an inquiry has been constituted.
