Delhi discoms demand compensation

Delhi’s discoms have sought heavy penalty from West Bengal’s Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for failing to supply power even after entering into agreements three years in a row.

Delhi’s discoms have sought heavy penalty from West Bengal’s Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for failing to supply power even after entering into agreements three years in a row.

The discoms have also blamed the DVC for “aggravating the city's power crisis”.

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has sought explanation from the DVC on why a penalty should not be slapped on it.
