Govt ready with health plan for Anna

A worried Centre has now finalised a health plan for the fast fading Anna Hazare in the event his health takes a turn for the worse. Government sources have indicated that Anna may be forcibly hospitalised if needed.

Government sources have indicated that Anna -- who has lost 6 kg on the 9th day of his indefinite fast -- may be forcibly hospitalised if the need arises.

Anna's team of doctors has been included in this plan and the centre is treading carefully, lest a misstep washes away the gains made in the last two days of negotiations.

As per media reports, the government has decided upon a contingency health plan in conjuction with Anna Hazare's doctors's advice should the aging gandhian face problems broguht on by 9 days of starvation.

Emphasising the government's concern is the fact that one of the primary outcomes of the all party meet was the unanimous appeal, by all sections of the ruling and opposition factions, to Anna hazare to withdraw his fast even as talks continued.
