Mangolpuri rape: demand for CBI probe

Even as the Delhi Police is investigating the alleged sexual harassment of a seven-year-old girl in a municipal school in Mangolpuri, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation recommended a CBI inquiry in the case on Monday.

Even as the Delhi Police is investigating the alleged sexual harassment of a seven-year-old girl in a municipal school in Mangolpuri, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation recommended a CBI inquiry in the case on Monday.

The decision was taken unanimously in the house meeting where the opposition members alleged that the corporation is shielding officials in the case. North Delhi Mayor Mira Aggarwal said that it is still to be established whether the rape happened on the school premises.
