Public hearing on power tariff draft regulation held
A public hearing regarding the Multi-Year Tariff (MYT) regulation for 2012-15, drafted by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, was held on Monday.

A public hearing regarding the Multi-Year Tariff (MYT) regulation for 2012-15, drafted by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, was held on Monday.
Delhiites are already burdened with 22% hike in power tariff. The power rates were last revised in August and a hike may take place next year.
The DERC had invited objections from stakeholders and RWAs on the draft by November 8. Many RWAs have filed their objections against the further increasing of tariffs under the MYT regulation.
