Robbers attack guard, try to take away ATM

According to police, two unidentified masked robbers allegedly struck at the Punjab National Bank ATM and tried to take away the ATM machine after cutting through the joints with the help of a gas cutter, but failed. They attacked the security guard of the ATM and then tied him.

Police said they are looking into the matter and that they have recorded the statement of the ATM guard.

The ATM where the robbers struck is situated near the Shahdara flyover.
