The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 10 board examinations on Tuesday, officials said. The result will be declared on the official websites of the Board by 4pm. Of the 16,38,428 candidates who registered for the exam, 2,89,958 are from Delhi. Panchkula comes next with 2,42,906 registered candidates and is followed by Chennai (1,94,187), Allahabad (1,92,579) and Patna (1,85,825).
This year, 4,510 candidates registered under the differently abled category. While there are 1,10,707 independent candidates, the no of registered candidates fromDelhi government and govt-aided schools are 1,55,387. A total of 22542 candidates have registered from the Gulf and 1,339 have registered from other countries.
Students can view their result on the official websites of the board: www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in after they are released. Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number, date of birth ready before the results are out.
Last year, CBSE Class 10 result was declared in the first week of June. Students will be able to check their results on Google by searching for CBSE Class 10 result. They will have to key in the required details to login and check their results.
The CBSE exams this year were mired in controversy after the Class 12 economics and Class 10 mathematics papers were allegedly leaked, triggering criticism against the board over the way the exams were conducted. A re-test was held for Class 12 economics students but the board decided against one for Class 10 mathematics paper.
The board declared the results of Class 12 exams on Saturday.
