Kirodi Lal

Kirodi Lal Meena is a tribal leader in Rajasthan. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He had been a member of the Rajasthan Assembly for five times. He was a Lok Sabha member twice. He is currently a member of the upper house of the Parliament, Rajya Sabha. He started his career with the BJP. He quit the party in 2008 but rejoined it in 2018. He has served as a minister in the Rajasthan government. In 2009, he was the only independent Lok Sabha MP from Rajasthan. Kirodi Lal Meena is contesting from Sawai Madhopur. The seat was won by BJP's Diya Kumari in 2013. In 2018, Congress's Danish Abrar defeated BJP's Asha Meena. The BJP has fielded Kirodi Lal Meena from the seat. Abrar is the Congress candidate.
