UP polls results: Check full list of winners from Varanasi & Prayagraj districts

Varanasi voted in the seventh and final phase of the election on March 7 and voting for Prayagraj took place in the fifth phase on February 27.

The results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in Varanasi and Prayagraj districts were declared by the Election Commission (EC) late Thursday.

Varanasi voted in the seventh and final phase of the election on March 7 and voting for Prayagraj took place in the fifth phase on February 27.

According to the Election Commission (EC), the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies have won all the constituencies in Varanasi. In Prayagraj, the saffron party and the allies managed to emerge victorious in eight of the 12 constituencies.

On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party (SP), which will again be the main opposition front in Uttar Pradesh, could win in four constituencies of Prayagraj- Meja, Soraon, Pratappur and Handia.
