‘80s star Meenakshi Seshadri rocks blingy shorts on a beach at 62: ‘Wearing shorts after a long time’

Damini star Meenakshi Seshadri (62) wowed her fans with her latest look. She took to Instagram to share a video of her day out at the beach and showed her fashionable choice of outfit.

The video shows Meenakshi walking on the beach in a pink full sleeves top and a blingy pair of silver shorts. She also wore silver mules as she walked on the wet sand. A stray dog also joined her for the video.

Sharing the video, Meenakshi wrote, “Fun on the beach! It was awesome rocking wearing shorts after a long time. The best part was finding a furry friend! BTW Can you tell me in which movies I have worn shorts?”

Fans praised her look in the comments. “Cute Meenakshi ji ❤️👏always my and Rishi ji favourite,” read a comment. “Ohhh WOW what a beautiful. Always my dream girl from 1987when I was 11year old till today,” read another comment.

Meenakshi is quite active on social media and often shares pictures and videos of herself in different outfits.

She also recently paid tribute to Dharmendra after his passing. “Dharmendra ji at 89 ,passed away and last rites are also over in a private ceremony. A He Man, Extraordinary human. I cherish the opportunities I had to costar with such a legend. I’m grateful for being cast in his home production Ghayal. My condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace,” she wrote.

In Ghayal, she worked alongside Dharmendra's son Sunny Deol.

Meenakshi is reviewing several scripts across formats as she prepares to return to the screen. Last year, she recreated the track Jeet Jayenge Hum Tu Agar from Meri Jung along with actor Manjari Fadnis.
