Ajith Kumar escapes unhurt after car crash during high-speed racing event in Europe: Report
Ajith Kumar was involved in a car accident during a high-speed endurance race in Europe but escaped unhurt.
Actor Ajith Kumar's love for racing made him take up motor car racing professionally and participate in several international racing competitions. However, his recent high-speed chase turned risky as he met with an accident during a high-speed endurance event in Europe.

Ajith survives crash
The incident reportedly occurred while Ajith Kumar was competing in endurance championships, including the Asian Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup. However, as per a report in Filmibeat, his car lost control and collided with another vehicle during the competition. The actor, however, escaped unhurt and did not sustain any serious injuries.
Ajith's previous crashes
Ajith is no stranger to surviving crashes on racing tracks. In 2025, his motorsport car crashed during the GT4 European Series in Italy, but he escaped without any injuries. Earlier that year, he also survived a dramatic double-rollover accident during the Porsche Sprint Challenge in Valencia, Spain. He had previously escaped unharmed after his Porsche crashed during practice for the 24H Dubai endurance race.
For the unversed, Ajith is among the very few Indians to have raced on the international circuit and participated in Formula championships. He drove in the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships and has also competed in events including the Creventic 24H Series and the GT4 European Series.
Ajith on his mindset after crashes
Last year, Ajith spoke to The Hollywood Reporter India about his approach to racing and what goes through his mind after an accident. He said, “When I crash, I try to understand if I have been hurt. That’s my immediate response. How bad am I hurt, how bad the car is, and if I can restart. Once you make sure you are okay and the car is okay, your adrenaline kicks in. The only thought is not wanting a DNF. I just think, ‘I want to finish (the race) today.’ You are worried for your family. It’s not fair on our part to be putting them through so much stress. Unfortunately, I have had some terrible crashes, but so have other drivers. It’s just that I am an actor, so it makes headlines.”
Taking about quitting racing, he had said, “I’m blessed that so far, my injuries have not been bad enough to make me miss a practice session or a race. And in the film industry, I have undergone 29 surgeries. There are two ways you can go about living your life. You can complain, or learn lessons and move on. Once you are economically sound, you understand what money can or can’t buy, and if you’re a giver or a taker. Wealth can make you a monster.”
Ajith Kumar's work front
On the work front, Ajith Kumar was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. He will next be seen in Daredevil, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
