Actor Gauahar Khan and dancer Zair Darbar announced that they are expecting their first child. They shared a cute animated video on Instagram.

Gauahar Khan and Zair Darbar revealed on Tuesday that they are expecting their first child via a cute animated video on Instagram. The couple asked for love and prayers from everyone as they made their happy announcement. They have been married since December 2020.

The actor took to Instagram to share her big news and wrote, "Bismillah hir Rahmaan nir Raheem. Need all your love and prayers. (heart emoji) Ma sha Allah! @pixiedustdesign showering their best on us from our wedding to this beautiful new journey too. (loved up emoji)."

Gauahar also shared a sweet video that shows an animated version of the couple riding on a bike. After a few moments,as a sidecar filled with toys and a feeding bottle gets attached to the bike. The short musical video states, "One became two when Z met G and now the adventure continues as we soon become three! Gauahar & Darbar + 1, In Sha Allah seeking all your prayers and blessings in this new journey."

Her post was immediately filled with likes and comments. Actor Kriti Kharbanda shared, "Big big big congratulations you two! Nazar na lage (May you be protected from the evil eye) (evil eye and heart emojis)." Sophie Choudhry wrote, "Mashallah!! Congratulations you guys (heart and evil eye emoji)." Yuvika Chaudhary added, "Congratulations (three heart emojis)." While Kishwer Merchant wrote, "I knew, I knew looking at your posts lately, so happy for you guys (hearts, angel hale, evil eye emojis)." Amit Tandon shared, "Congratulations and lots of love to all THREE of you (red heart emojis)."

In September, the actor had told Hindustan Times, "I definitely look forward to being a mother. I really hope that happens soon. I never plan (things, so) when it’s about to happen it will happen. It’s not something Zaid and I have planned for ki ek saal baad, do saal baad (after one year, two years)…We have never actually had this conversation.”

Gauahar, who had previously won Bigg Boss 7 in 2013, made her film debut with the Ranbir Singh-starrer Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year in 2009. This year, she appeared in three web series, Bestseller, Salt City, and Shiksha Mandal. Zaid is the son of music composer-turned-politician Ismail Darbar.
