Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan held a Ted Lasso-themed birthday party at home which was attended by Kiran Rao, Imran Khan and Mithila Palkar among others.
Ira Khan, the daughter of actor Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Reena Dutta, turned 25 on May 8. She hosted a Ted Lasso-themed birthday party at home which was attended by her family and friends, including Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao with her son Azad, cousins Imran Khan and Zayn Marie Khan, friend and actor Mithila Palkar and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare. Ira shared videos and photos from her birthday celebration and revealed that she ended up winning the Ted Lasso trivia concert. The group were also seen dancing to a Backstreet Boys song. On Instagram, Ira added pics of the Ted Lasso-themed desserts for the party. She wrote, "Happy Birthday to me (red heart emoji)." In the three photos, she showed the tickets and invitations to the party, along with the different cupcakes featuring quotes from the show, including 'Believe' and 'Be a Goldfish'.
Later, she posted three videos from the private bash. She captioned it, "You guys are my Ted Lasso, Coach Beard, Keeley, Rebecca, Higgins, Diamond Dogs, Jamie, Roy, DANNI, Sam, Isaac, RICHMOND!! Yes we had a Ted Lasso trivia. Yes I won." In the first video, the guests are seen chanting for Roy Kent, a character on the show. The second video shows Ira and the rest of the guests getting competitive as they answered questions in a Ted Lasso trivia game. The guests are dressed in football vests of red and green, indicating different teams.
The last video shifts gears as Mithila, Ira and Kiran are seen singing along to the Backstreet Boys song I Want It That Way. The guests are dressed casually; Ira is wearing a black tank and shorts. Her cousin, former actor Imran Khan, is mostly seen sitting on the couch, as he participates in the party games. Aamir Khan is away in Nepal for a ten-day vipassana meditation program in Budhanilkantha, near Kathmandu.
Instagram users wished Ira for her birthday and commented on how much fun the guests were having. Actor Hazel Keech wrote, "Lmao! What fun! Happy birthday lovely girl." Fatima Sana Shaikh dropped red heart emojis while cousin Zayn added lots of hearts and said, "Hahahhahah Hahahhahah WHAT A PARTYYYYY." One fan also shared, "So cute good to see Imran too."
